FITNESS BOOT CAMP: OUTDOOR/INDOOR WORKOUTS FOR MEN AND WOMEN
Our fitness boot camp program is more than just a great workout!  It is a healthy solution for busy professionals, new moms, former or current athletes or anyone that wants to make a change in their lives for the better. It is also a fantastic maintenance plan for anyone that has attended a boot camp with another company or anyone looking to continue the "muscle confusion" principle learned in p90X. 

Specially designed for ALL fitness levels, our intense interval based boot camp workouts focus on pushing you outside your comfort zone, past where you can push yourself. Most of the boot camp workouts are performed without weights, using only your body weight for resistance. Whether you are looking for a weight loss exercise program or just to kick start your fitness routine, our fitness boot camp program can help you reach your goals.

BOOT CAMP FAQ'Ss

"Boot Camp is for all fitness levels, but do I have to be in shape?"
Before signing up, consider these boot camp truths:

WILL I GET DIRTY?
Boot camp is held outdoors and you will get dirty. If rain, mud or wet grass cause issues for you, then you might want to wait until November when we go back inside.

DO I HAVE TO RUN?
There is running in some form every day and because we use parks, some of that running is on concrete. If you have severe knee issues or any injury that prohibits you from running, you may want to consider swimming as a fitness option. If you just don't "think" you are a runner, boot camp is DEFINATELY FOR YOU.You do not need to be able to run very far or fast when you start; you just need to have the ability to move without severe pain. 

DO I NEED TO ALREADY BE FIT TO JOIN BOOT CAMP?
You do NOT need to be fit to join boot camp. You do not need to "get in shape" to come to boot camp, that is what boot camp is all about. But if you have not been moving at all in the past year and decide to join boot camp, give yourself two weeks to start walking and moving for at least 10 minutes a day before you begin. Boot camp is NOT just for weight loss. Our program is an athletic based program also.

HOW DO YOU CHALLENGE BOTH OUT OF SHAPE AND ATHLETIC PARTICIPANTS IN THE SAME CLASS?
Well that is the secret, isn't it? With a 10 to 1 camper to instructor ratio, we are able to break up our larger groups into smaller fitness level groups to provide appropriate workouts for each level of participant. We also have carefully designed larger group workouts and modifications to each exercise so that no matter where you are, we can challenge you. Ready to sign up? 

WILL I BE LEFT ALONE IN THE PARK?
You will never be left alone during a workout. Our instructors support you every step of the way. 

WILL I BE SORE?
If you have not been working out on a regular basis, then there is a very high probability that you will experience some muscle aches and pains during your first month of boot camp. Our workouts are designed with a warm-up and cool down to minimize this, but sore muscles should be treated with ice and soaking in a hot Epsom salts bath after the workouts. Additional stretching on your own will help improve your flexibility and decrease muscles tightness throughout the month.

As a rule, our workouts vary every day and even month to month, so you may be sore from time to time as a veteran camper as well. We try to keep you on your toes and are regularly adding in new exercises and additional levels of difficulty as you become more fit which could also cause muscle soreness.

If you ever experience continue pain, we recommend seeing a doctor. 

IF I'M REALLY OVERWEIGHT, CAN I SIGN UP? 
If you need to lose 5-20 pounds then boot camp is most likely the best solution for you. If you need to lose a significant amount of weight, boot camp may be a great option, but we will always ask that you get clearance from your doctor before beginning our program. Our goal is always to help you get and stay healthy. Situations vary, so call us to discuss. 

HOW LONG IS EACH WORKOUT? 
Each workout lasts 55 minutes. You will need to be at the meeting place for your location approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the workout. 

HOW DO I SIGN UP? 
Register Online, today! Remember; don't wait until the last minute as we only allow a limited number of campers in each month. Additional classes may be added due to the demand.

HOW MUCH DOES BOOT CAMP COST?

$6.00 
or
$7.00 per class drop in rate


HOW DO I PAY? 
Classes can be paid at the start of each class via check or cash. Payment can also be made on line at www.performanceone.org 

BOOT CAMP MAKE-UP POLICY 
Performance One strives to provide accountability based fitness boot camp program that meets the needs of clients. To keep our clients making progress all workouts are mandatory, however, we realize from time to time schedule conflicts will arrive. To allow for workout scheduling all clients are required to email their lead instructor in advance to missing a workout. Valid excused absences include work and family conflicts, scheduled vacations, illness and injury. 

All excused absences will expire 30 days after the last day of the last paid session of boot camp. For example, if you last paid for and participated in the July session of boot camp, and have 5 make-up sessions, you will have until August 31 to complete all 5 workouts.
